Sunset Class

Join me most Thursday evening's this summer at my home for gentle yoga and meditation!  We will practice outside in the yard surrounded by nature (and some highway noise). Time will be slightly adjusted for the sunsets so that there is still enough light to safely return to the house/vehicles after class but generally expect class to start by 7:30 and end by 8:30. Please bring your own mat, blocks, straps, blankets and any other props you might like to have. 

Other items worth considering:

• water bottle/beverage
• bug spray 
• towel
• dress in layers in case it gets cool 

This is an offering of movement, meditation and a community gathering. There is no charge to participate since it is an invitation to gather, but cash donations and barter/trade items are welcome. The classes will be beginner friendly and relaxed, but keep in mind that practicing on grass and uneven ground can be challenging. The yard is on a slight hill and that can affect balance or exacerbate certain conditions. Please use logic and caution when engaging in an outdoor practice. Different methods of meditation will be offered during each class so it may not be appropriate for young children (and maybe some adults) if silent sitting is too difficult.  

There is ample parking and there will be instructions on where to go once you RSVP. There will be two restrooms available, one located in the basement of the main house with easy access to the yard and another in the upstairs space of the garage that requires ascening a long stair case. 

Please note, we have two friendly dogs that will remain in the house during our class, chickens that are kept in a fenced in area and two honeybee hives near the practice area. The bees have never been aggressive and will be focused on getting back into the hive before it gets dark. There are security cameras on the premises in various locations. As a reminder, this is my home and you participating in any event here is the same as attending any other type of gathering as an invited guest. Your participation in any physical practice is at your own risk. 

**Important** You MUST RSVP in order to attend. Drop-ins are not welcome since this is our private home, I would like to know all who are attending before we begin. If you forget to RSVP and would like to attend, you can try to text or DM me to see if class is on but please do not just show up.
